Blacklist / Mutelist Questions

Correct me if I'm wrong but, why doesn't the block and mute feature work for people who are offline? Shouldn't we also be able to remove friends and block/mute them at the same time?

I'm glad the updated feature exists but there are some serious issues with it. (I am already aware of the fact of the unknown users issue, I just wanted to bring attention to another side of the feature which is....really useless.)

Edited: you can add someone to blacklist from the lodestone.

I think it's mostly for server memories to not overload them would be insane if you can player search offline people
