7.1 changes to Gpose camera motion – please have it be optional

Amid many bigger announcements at today's live letter, there was one about the camera in Gpose being changed so that it stays constant instead of rolling with the screen tilt:

If you're viewing the screen upright, that makes sense.

However, I play on controller and take a lot of portrait-oriented Gpose screenshots, and when I'm doing that, I turn my head or even lie down on the couch so I am viewing the screen sideways to match the rolled camera. In this position, the current setup is oriented to my screen, and changing it will create the disconnect that this change is supposed to prevent.

I really hope that there is an option to choose your control scheme, rather than a blanket change that will potentially do the opposite of what it is trying to achieve.

This seems like an esoteric issue at best.

Clearly they thought it was enough of an issue to alter it in the first place, not considering that the current system also has benefits.

Surely I'm not the only person turning their head sideways when taking portrait shots.

When the patch notes said "camera tilt and panning are now tied to roll angle settings by default", I assumed that meant there would be an option to change it back... Unfortunately, I haven't found one. I play on PC but I've taken so many portrait Gposes and gotten so used to the old setting that the new one is really messing with my muscle memory.

Please please square make it optional, for those of us used to the current system it makes it almost unusable!

Don't... tilt...?

Normally I'm not one to post on forums to complain but I absolutely hate these new controls for gposing. Especially with controller. I wish they would've let it be a option in the settings cause I really don't like this when im tyring to do 90 degree angle shots now.

They implemented this feature to help people who do vertical poses ending up making it really awkward instead... I'd rather have it optional aswell, it's a pain to deal with.

I don't get why it's not optional. Who even thought that it would be a great idea? There is absolutely zero logic or any common sense in using left and right arrows or controller stick movements for VERTICAl camera pan angle control!
