Why doesn't venture cost scale with level?

Sending a level 20 retainer on quick exploration costs 2 ventures (400 seals) and they bring back some junk that gets you 50 GC seals at least. Sending a level 90 retainer costs the same 400 seals but they regularly bring back items worth 2000 seals.

Just like on your main character everything costs less when you're low level since the rewards are also lower, shouldn't venture cost also scale? I've had a huge shortage of seals while leveling my retainers to a point where I could barely keep up and couldn't afford dark matter and other stuff, until they hit a higher level and now I'm swimming in seals just from the stuff they bring back.

I dont think the cost needs to scale, quick exploration is 2 ventures and gives u multiple chances at loot. 16 hr costs 1 and gives you a chance at rarer loot.

I have no problem with quick ventures costing more than the long one if it is meant as a more "expensive" way earn more compared to lazy send and forget.

I just find it strange that sending a level 20 venture costs the same as level 100.

See it as a reward for engaging with the retainer leveling and quick venture system. Why do that when the reward is the same at level 20 and at level 100.

We suck as employers, always paying our retainers minimum wage no matter how good they get. We're paying them for their time and not their experience.

High level ventures aren't necessarily worth more than low level ones as well. That's going to depend on supply and demand on your local marketboard. If I was using the ventures to make gil, there are many low level venture items worth more than some of the DT items.

No, i have no interest in paying 200 ventures to get some 70ilevel green crap. dont give the devs ideas for how to make the game less rewarding than it already can be.

I'd pay more ventures to get better odds at the other minions
