Request to the game developers.

Hello. I have a huge request to the game developers. Namely, fixing the mechanics in the Deep Dungeon. What exactly? Everyone knows the problem of the game, sudden crashes from the game, loss of connection with the server. This is due to many factors, the developers are sure they understood what I mean. As for PotD (Place of the Dead), if you have problems connecting to the server while on a floor in PotD, your game is over if you are trying to go through 200 floors alone. Therefore, this task (going solo) simply becomes impossible. I have more than 1000 hours of playing PotD and loss of connection is the main and main problem why I did not go through PotD. In group play, loss of connection with the server is not a problem. The problem is only for single players.
It is not possible to solve the connection problem at the moment, I have tried many things. The problem remains mainly in the PotD-like content of the game.
What I want to ask the game developers to consider. Please solve the problem of losing progress due to an error related to the loss of connection with the game server when playing PotD solo. I am sure it is technically possible. At least start from the last point of recording the playthrough. I kindly ask you to make such a change.
For example, my connection to the game server was interrupted, for example, the famous and immortal error 90002! I was on the 187th floor, I will have to start from 180. The last point of recording the progress. Why don't the developers do this? This is technically absolutely not a problem.
In real time, it is simply impossible to complete PotD. The connection is too unstable. And there are also constant DoS attacks from the game...

Because the game server can't tell the difference between you intentionally force quitting the game or intentionally disconnecting your router because your run is going badly, versus your ISP accidentally having a bad day.

You are wrong. If the connection is truly lost, the game will display an error code (for example 90002). In case of an intentional reset, nothing will happen.

The error message, or lack thereof, shown on your computer or console is not the issue. (Indeed, how is the game supposed to show an error message if you force quit it? :confused:)

The issue is what the game server sees. And it cannot tell the difference between "the player stopped talking to me because they disconnected their home router or force-quit the game" versus "the player stopped talking to me because their ISP is having a bad day." All the game server sees is "the player stopped talking to me."

So you came to the question yourself. Can't the developers solve this problem. By software means? This problem exists, I studied this issue. What your client shows during an event means nothing in any client/server application such as FFXIV. What matters is what the server sees. In the event that you legitimately lose connection or you forcefully unplug your router, the server sees the same thing: Your game client stopped sending packets. There's no way for the game server to know the difference.

I don't know why you guys are like, talking to him about game server connections, when literally for Solo the instance should just still run.
The way Deep Dungeons Solo are ran is poor and ruins morale for your player to even continue on to play the game.

Whoever designed this, should reconsider changing how disconnecting or crashing effect the run.
There is a reason why most players don't even attempt these achievements, or challenges is because of this harsh restriction.
The feedback has been for years very negative for this issue.
We should strive for change for this content, not debating about how our connections work, or hating on one another. the game suppose to bring fun, not frustration, specially after 7+ hours of work wasted.
