I have an FC house with 4 submarines level 105 & 106. If I give up my FC house, will I get my submarine parts back? And more importantly, I'm currently on the Lilac Sea map, will I lose all the maps I've already uncovered or can I just pick up where I left off at some point when I buy another FC house in a few months?
you can take the parts off your submarine before you give up your house if thats what you mean, or if you mean the materials to make it... then no, you lose it. i also believe that if you give up your fc house (not transferring) you have to start all over again, including sub levels and maps. the only way to keep your subs and progress is to do a house transfer
So my Submarines will be Level 1 again? That sucks kinda.
The workshop is tied to the house. You lose the house, you lose your workshop and all its progress: submarines, levels, destinations etc. All of it.
You keep everything if you upgrade or relocate, if that's what you mean by "giving up" your current house.

You can sell your FC for gil. If you have your Subs set up, I can imagine that you will find someone interested who would be willing to pay a nice sum.
