Explorer Mode for other content?

They haven't said a word about adding it to content other than dungeons ever since they finished those, have they? I think Alliance Raids and the new Variant Dungeons especially would really benefit from it...

I’d really like to see it added for everything… especially Alliance, but they might have to add additional settings for arenas that change during battle… thinking of the last stage of Thaleia in particular.

I'd LOVE to see it added to Alliance Raids, especially Heavensward. I LOVE the background in Ozma's room, but I need to complete the Alliance Raid just to be able to gpose there.

I'd love to be able to poke around alliance raids without a party. We can already do it for the Copied Factory and Puppet's Bunker (not really Explorer mode, you can't set down a target dummy to play with actions, but you can go have a look around), but that's it.

I don't mind it not being for variant dungeons too much, since those are very much soloable on any class (but I wouldn't complain if it was added), but alliance raids really should have it since you need at least three people to even unsync those.

I also agree that the ability to change the appearance of the zones to the pre-fight versions would be wonderful! The last area of the Dead Ends pre-boss fight is super pretty and would make a lovely backdrop, but explorer mode just has the completed-dungeon version. I guess at least at 100 we could probably unsync it... but I doubt every class could manage until 110ish, so we're back to the issue of having to find other people to help you get to a spot to take a picture.

Makes me wonder… if you got 3 other people to go through with you and keep the boss occupied, and set gpose to “self only” and make sure you click the setting that doesn’t let the weather change during your session, would the arena stay the same for you even if the rest of your party kills the boss? Although I remember that some places don’t let you hit the freeze weather button (like Starlight Stalls for some reason) and the stage change might not be linked to weather anyway.

But yeah, a toggle to switch between different stages for the fight would be helpful even for dungeons. Reminds me to try Explorer mode on the latest dungeon (YFS) and see if it’s the floor or the crater! lol

This would be so nice! I wonder why they don't expand it more? It seems like it should be easy from a technical perspective but maybe there is more to it than meets the eye.
