As a part of Aethercon this year (previously known as Lunarcon), we're running a Heaven-on-High race! Teams of (up to) 4 players racing to the top, hanging out, and earning glory on the main stage!

this would be more interesting to watch if everyone started at +9 aetherpool and weren't allowed to bring in any prefarmed empyrean potions
We thought about doing that, but since this is mostly being organized/streamed by like 2 people, that's too much of a logistical headache.
Plus all the speedrunners who practice/run this mode do so with potions and +99 aetherpool. It'd be like hosting a smash tournament with items on. Could be good for a side tournament though!
