Ever since installing DT, I only seem to be able to get a few minutes of gameplay before it causes my PC to hard crash (as if it is rebooting the PC, but never starts back up). I have disabled overclocking, I have reinstalled the game, I have done system checks, but it still does it. Temps all look fine, no obvious spikes when it crashes and no obvious errors.
I've seen people posting about how the game client crashes, or their PC freezes, but I can't find anyone else who seems to have my issue?
FFXIV worked perfectly fine before this and I could happily spend hours at a time playing, but now I can just about log on for long enough to keep the FC house ticking over and that's it. Help!

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
Please try the following:
- Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card and sound drivers (if applicable). Upon further review it appears that your GPU [ASUS Radeon RX 590 Series] driver was last updated on [2/20/2024], at this time there should be a newer version available.
- Please try adjusting/lowering the resolution
- Please try running the game as an administrator
- Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything
- Please be sure that Final Fantasy XIV is installed to the C: Drive
- Make sure that the Windows OS is fully updated
- Reinstall game
Please note, although the minimum GPU requirements for FINAL FANTASY XIV is [AMD Radeon™ RX 480] your GPU does not meet the recommend GPU [AMD Radeon™ RX 5600 XT]. As such you may need to adjust the in-game graphical settings to a lower value in order to run FINAL FANTASY XIV.

This is identical to the issue I have as I put in the game freezes topic. Indeed finding anything about it is rare, so I guess it at least does not happen often.

I have since that post, fully reinstalled FFXIV, did a reinstall of windows 11 and did a bios update. However the crash after playing for a good time remains. I originally thought it might be QuantumEngine, but even after uninstalling that one and not using my USB headphone it also still happens. There is potential that it's a hardware issue, however the same has not yet happened in other games which are intensive. -

Try following:
1. download Hwinfo: https://www.hwinfo.com/download/
2. start it with "Sensors only"
3. Create a log. There are buttons in the bottom of the window.
4. play so for 20 minutes or until the game crashes.
5. upload the log somewhere so i can look into it. You can also zip it if it gets too big.

I have done all of the above - the GPU (Asus Radeon RX590) is saying it has the most up to date version and can't find anything newer. Still having the same issue.

The "GPU VRM Voltage In (VIN/+12V) [V]" values look not good. They go down to 11.562V. Reseating the graphics card may help. Open your PC, remove the power connector from the graphics card and remove the graphics card from the motherboard. Then clean the contacts with some alcohol and put the graphics card back and connect the power connector to the graphics card.
If it does not help then propably the PSU is old/too weak and it cannot provide enough energy.
