Housing and Shell FC's

I know there\\'s a lot of complains about this and the devs are not doing anything! Housing is a big part of the game I was from Primal Famfrit (Congested World) I got my dream house back in the days were the lottery system didn\\'t exist. When DT launched I moved data center to Dynamis to help with the server congestion with some friends to create an FC and get a Private house but since I joined I have been loosing the lottery over and over again and now there\\'s almost no houses in Seraph a lot of wards and plots are owned to shell FC\\'s same tag different numbers those shell FC in all the housing areas are taking the spot of someone who want a house, to decorate it and lived it in. I can\\'t believe the devs are allowing same account with a ton of alts and each of those alts are house owners please just limit one private and one fc house per Account wide or better yet per IP address. It\\'s impossible to win against like a ton of people same fc getting lottery tickets for the same house vs my one and only ticket. I\\'m really upset I have been playing this game since ARR and I have been paying my sub since then plus paying and playing all the expacs and I cant get a house. Please hear us and fix this issue cause you keep adding items to decorate houses cause is part of the game and I can\\'t get one house to decorate it.

You talk about losing against shell fc's yet you say their many lottery tickets against your one? If its a shell company shouldnt it be only one in there?
Second thing is the "your one" ticket, why dont the others in your fc dont bid too? If there are no others in your fc doesnt that mean you are a shell fc too?
Third shell fc's even buying up whole wards has no bearing on your ability to get a private house since wards are split in fc and personal wards.

You're on the most populated Dyna world, (Seraph) which is congestion hell, and pretty much is on par with Primal/Aether/Crystal population. Basically the Balmung of Dynamis. You chose the worst server on Dynamis to try win a house on. Cuchu/Golem/Kraken/Raff still have plenty of supply.

I can also attest that the housing market on Seraph specifically is a nightmare. I got lucky with a small plot in Goblet that only had 2 other lottery entrants, but every other plot I could find in every other area at the time was just about as bad as my old server on Aether.

I do agree that there are way too many instances of a single person or FC taking up far too much space. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that SE will do anything to combat this, because multi-estate owners are more likely to spend money on the Mog Station for extra retainers or exclusive furnishings. Pretty common MMO fare for the devs to never do anything to upset their whales.

Still holding out for instanced housing...

Hello thank you for reading and responding. I'm not talking about loosing my personal lottery against shell FC's the thing that I get frustrated at is the housing system, it has been bad since the beginig and SE haven't fixed it. The core players are a lot more than what they have available for housing. I have been playing since 2013 so my account is grandfathered and I never dealt with housing lotteries until now. I moved servers I thought is gonna be easier to get a house in the new data center but no cause my friends choose the world that's the most congested now. Why I'm mad about shells FC cause there's almost no houses left to choose, shells fc have full wards I see a lot of houses untouched and not lived in the Devs needs to fix that only 1 FC house and 1 Private house per account world wide they need to stop the alts of that same account to buy houses. I know is a luck system and the fc shells has no bearing of my luck but the no houses available is the fault of the Devs to let people abuse the system cause the owners of those shells fc I see them in discord selling them. Also I do not own an FC I meant that my friends and I wanted to open an FC in the new world and we wanted to buy an FC house, but my frustration mostly is cause I have been trying to get a personal house for months.
