Fur display on gear visual bug since 7.0.

With the release of 7.0 Dawntrail I found an issue on certain gear where the fur at the top of the chest piece is not displayed correctly, in the way of clean cuts and missing bits around the edges. These are some examples:

My old post was on the "Confirmed/Planning to adress" section of the bug report forums but after a while it got moved into "Working as intended" section even though the bug still persists. I was told the issue is likely related to some Nvidia upscaling technology implemented on 7.0 but nothing has been confirmed.
