Tanthany Tantanos' Tentative Tank (DRK) Transformation

This is a rework I had bouncing around in my head for a bit that and other creators sharing their ideas for the job kinda nudged me to write it all down somewhere.

Bring back dark arts it will cost Mp purely defensive augments in most cases, it costs 3k mana
Using dark arts will give you an Edge ready buff stack making Edge of shadow free of mana cost up stacking up to 3 times.

TBN - free and on a 25 cd. Does the same stuff until 82 then it becomes TDH (The Darkest Hour) shield + 10% mit (Oblation intergration). Dark arts adds an excog effect on break or expiration

Dark missionary - move to lvl 70, Dark arts adds 5% physical mit

Carve and spit turns into abyssal drain when Dark arts is used same and has the potency. The heal value increases the less targets hit, increasing to a similar potency to equilibrium on single target hit.

Edge of shadow turns to Flood of shadow when Dark arts giving the user its multi target Darkside buff extender option with the same potency as Edge on first target less on additional.

Powerslash an alternative combo ender empowers next Souleater cast to restore more HP while the Souleater combo empowers the next powerslash to give mana. This should fix the missing mana issue that we have currently and add a bit of something else to do in the rotation.

Salted earth when Dark arts is used adds a regen for the duration.

Dark mind when Dark arts is used increases healing received by 10%, you can also use this ability on other targets both in its normal and Dark arts form.

This is basically it really. I think it would be fun

Dark Arts (defensive) - fundamentally a cool idea, but as long as any form of damage remains attached to MP while Dark Arts costs MP, it will either be completely unused in actual raid scenarios where damage is king, or will be treated as the "eww, I am forced to use this when every other tank doesn't have to" button. Inner Beast did this back at Lv70, shared resource with Fell Cleave, -150 potency for a 6s Rampart. It was hardly ever used. - Either make it a modifier cooldown with a reasonable cooldown (30s? 60s? Tied to Oblation?) or completely decouple damage from MP.

TBN - No on the 15s -> 25s change. No on the added Excogitation effect. No on the integration of Oblation into the same button. We don't need another Xenosys Vex style suggestion of "make every short cooldown Heart of Corundum". It's boring homogenization. - Keep the 15s, remove the MP for all I care, add a proc effect on break (direct heal / regen / follow-up mitigation, whatever). Keep Oblation separate, improve Oblation directly to make it more appealing. Maybe add a "compile damage turns into heal when Oblation ends" effect.

Dark Missionary - Solid on both accounts. Dark Arts restriction on physical mit should at least push this to 10% though, otherwise make it baseline 5% phys and 10% magic.

Carve + Abyssal Drain - Just add a heal potency to Carve tbh. Overcomplicated. Also nerfing AOE heal the more targets you hit sounds like an unneeded nerf.

Edge/Flood - so basically make AOE clunky because you need to use Dark Arts. Not really interesting tbh. Would depend on how Edge / Flood is used or if it is still on MP.

Powerslash combo - this adds alternating combos (similar to Viper and Monk basically) and you exchange the bonus MP for less Blood - meaning less Bloodspillers too. I'm all for a 2nd combo, but would need a bit of work.

Salted Earth - yeah sure, why not.

Dark Mind - "yeah sure why not" on the heal boost, but honestly the biggest problem with it is that it simply does nothing on physical attacks, which needs to be addressed. Baseline 10% physical mitigation on top of the 20% magical mitigation would go a long way.

"as long as any form of damage remains attached to MP while Dark Arts costs MP, it will either be completely unused in actual raid scenarios where damage is king" - This is why I added the edge ready stack part to this idea to keep the damage side of things relatively similar.

For the TBN changes I wanted add a change to TBN with the Dark Arts augmentation that would bring it to be the same defensive strength as the other tank personals. Now I dont exactly have a good idea for that so I copypasta'd some ideas floating around in hopes a better change would pop up. That being said I do like the "on break" options you posted but I would like for Dark Arts to have some kind of augmentation to it. The oblation tie in though I added because via my own gameplay I am almost never pressing TBN by itself now its always with the oblation so why not just have both be 1 button since the idea would be to have Dark Arts fill the oblation role with its augmentation.

Abyssal Drain would function the exact same on multiple targets the only change here is you get healed more with less targets. Right now its 200 potency per target (which is honestly low) and with lets say 4 targets hit it would increase 225 potency, 3 targets 250, 2 targets 400, 1 target 800. So the Value of the heal you get in each scenario is about the same.

The flood change was simply to cut a button IMO DRKs starting to get up there on the button count and flood doesnt need to be one of them.

Most of the other things you mentioned sit well with me.
