Question regarding the Demolition Timer

If you win a plot, but then you don't build anything on it (it's represented by a grey little turret like icon with a red tick), what happens with the demolition timer...? Supposedly you need to enter your house once every 45 days right, but if you haven't built anything there...?

You lose the plot I believe. You need to build something there within that period.

Then there's nothing to enter to reset the demolition timer and you lose the plot.

There are a very few players that mess around by building the Estate Hall, entering the house, then removing the Estate Hall until it's time to reset the demo timer again. If you're looking at a plot that is owned but without a house on it for a long time, it could be one of those players is the owner.
