PS5 - UI Elements Controller Help

Hello,

I'm trying to get my sister into FFXIV but she's having some controller issues and I don't know how to help. I'm on PC and she's on PS5. ( She's physically on the console, not just using a PS5 controller on PC ) Every guide I see is for PS5 controllers on PC, but she's actually on the console.

When I play on PC with a controller, when I press the Back/Select button it cycles through UI elements. However, on her console when she presses the back button on her PS5 instead of cycling through UI elements, it pulls up the PS5 screenshots menu.

How can we disable this so it works the same way as it does on PC? Or how are PS5 users cycling through UI elements?

She's currently using the Touchpad as a mouse and its dramatically making the experience worse for her.

There's no Select button on a Dualsense when on PS5, that button is called Share and is used to take screenshots or record gameplay.

Firstly, you should go to System Configuration > Controller settings

Uncheck the box , Use Touchpad as mouse, enable expanded touch pad controls, this will give you the option to cycle HUD components by clicking left and right touchpad (one for forward and the other go back)
