FSH: spare handful

Please explain how spare handful works/is used?

Spareful Hand is a skill which lets you 'store' up to 3 moochable fish at a time during a fishing session. If you put away your rod with stored fish (called Swimbait), then they go away and you'll have to get them again.

You can store moochable fish if it is large-sized, that is - it's the 'large size' quality when the fish is caught. You can greatly increase and/or guarantee a large-sized fish with skills like Patience, Patience II, and Prize Catch.

It's useful for when you need to catch a fish that's off a certain mooch, or if you're going for Big Fish, you can prepare mooched fish ahead of time, if needed.

Basically, it lets you stock fish for mooching later. So if you're trying to catch something that requires mooching and only spawns in certain a window, you can use Spare Handful to stock up on the mooch fish ahead of time to get some "free" attempts later.

Question: Can i CHUM the 3 mooch fish I got in order to get a rare fish or they need to be caught using "normal cast" without chum?

For example, the Henodus Grandi, if I get 3 HQ Spearhead Squid aside using Spare Handful, can i Chum them to speed up the process??

You can use Chum with Spareful Hand stored fish, yes.

can also use Prize Catch, Patience II, Big-game fishing or any other skill that would otherwise cancel mooching with Swimbait.
