Sorry, just wanted to say how pretty incredible that spell is. I love its animation.

But it really reminds me more of an icy / crystalline like spell.

Where does the name Prefulgence originate from? Or is it wholly unique to FFXIV?

I feel that Prefulgence is in the same realm of Jolt, Scatter, Impact, etc, which seems to be a visual identity unique to XIV's RDM.
