Please Do Not Ignore SEA Players

Currently SEA customers face a lack of proper service causing them to face issues such as difficulty connecting to the game, high/unstable ping, payment issues, being forced to create illegitimate accounts which violates TOS thus putting their accounts at risk of being permanently banned, having to pay for VPN just to be able to play the game etc. It shouldn't be this way. This indicates a clear lack of service by Square Enix to their SEA customer base. SEA customers shouldn't have to do a monkey dance just to be able to play the game, make payments etc.

Thus, I would like to request Square Enix to invest in SEA server. You are a large company and Final Fantasy is your flagship title. You have invested in introducing your game to multiple platforms and I would like to request you to invest in an SEA server which would then solve the other problems SEA customers currently face.

As proven already in the Japan data center you have enough population to populate SEA servers. The only concern would be that would the vast majority of SEA players move servers and abandon some of their progress. My solution for this is as follows:

Elemental is currently one of the main data centers for SEA players. If it is legally possible then you convert the Elemental DC to SEA DC then that would be a good thing since people won't have to abandon their progress. Give people from JP and current Elemental free transfer from JP to Elemental and Elemental to JP. Give other regions free transfer to SEA DC. Give the same benefits as OCE transfer but this time provide an exclusive mount and Armour cosmetic set. Mount is delivered via Moogle after 30 consecutive days on server and Armour cosmetic set after 60 consecutive days on server.

I know some people may say that OCE DC is under populated and the same will happen to SEA. However, I would like to point out that OCE as a region is a region where unless you are from OCE it is highly unlikely that you will experience good connection to it. OCE is not like Singapore where a person from India can connect to a Singapore server and still experience good connection. I am not aware of any game that has an easy time populating OCE servers. Even other major games like Dota 2 have dead OCE servers.

Having an SEA server will also have SEA recognized by SE which will solve many issues SEA players have like payment problems etc. Currently according to TOS all SEA players are in violation of TOS and run the risk of having their accounts banned permanently.

I hope Square Enix will take this issue seriously and address it. Thank you.
