For the love of god, change viper back.

When we asked for Square Enix to "not remove positionals", no one asked for any additional changes that make the job easier. But the monkey paw curled somehow and we lost noxious gnash? I was ready to lose positionals on dreadwinder, but this is somehow worse. Please change it back

I would have been fine with losing positionals. Or rather, this was not worth keeping positionals.

I don't see it happening but I'd really like it. Changes were uncalled, unnecessary and awful, even the name changes.

the changes are great, dots are lame

I play dot class in every game because i find them fun. Also, viper should be about dots / poison / wounds.

That's all it did. It's just an arbitrary upkeep for 10% damage on target.

It's not the debuff people are complaining about. They changed viper from a priority system to a pure combo system by removing the debuff. The debuff was bad due to not always being able to apply it when needed and even if someone saved a skill to apply it, the buff only lasted 20 seconds so the intent was two applications to do just about anything meaningful. It's pretty bad if someone liked the older priority system and was planning to main it in savage, and then it changed suddenly and now they are stuck on something they don't want to play. Having to grind another entire job up to 100 and also have to gear it at the same time on the week of a content drop is not a great place to be, especially in this game where any kind of challenging content has to be done when the anvil is still hot.
