Solution Nine transport pads not working

Steps:
1. Turned on auto-run aiming at the transport pad
2. Tabbed out of the game
3. Tabbed back in to see character having walked past transport pad
4. Tried walking back onto trasport pad, to no effect

I am unsure what might have caused this. I had just completed the quest The Neoteric Witch from Chronicles of a New Era - The Arcadion and was making my way towards the Aetheryte plaza only to find out the transport pad did not seem to work. My friend who was in the party came over and the pad worked fine for them. It worked for me again after using the Aethernet to go from the True Vue Aethernet Shard to the main Aetheryte.

I will try adding the screenshots I took of it, but as this is my first time posting I don't know if this will work
