if i am not mistaken the first time SE showed 1.0 was in gamescom and now we will see 2.0 gameplay in gamescom for the first time! cute right?

i watched GamesCom 2009 videos sooo many times and i was so hyped lol.

Dormice were so small!

And we still don't have that gear...

Hehe, nostalgia from my super hyped days for XIV. I remember picking up my CE from gamestop and chatting with the other people who were picking it up about how awesome this game would be.

Man, I've never seen that video before, but that gameplay looks pretty rough. Characters sliding across the ground, the players don't know how to control the camera...man.

The only thing that happened to me when I picked up my CE was that the clerk said "yeah, I was in the beta, the game is awwwwwfffffuuuuulllllll"

He wasn't wrong. Gladly, though, the game has come a long way.

I'm not sure if the camera is just zoomed on the screen, but I think it would be awesome of the game's camera could be re-positioned slightly off center to give an "over shoulder" feel.

I've always thought that this game would benefit from that.

I think you can set that up in the camera settings.
