Sound effect for positional

Please add this feature

There already is i thought

I was asking for this back in ARR when I mained MNK, it would be great with a tiny visual effect and like a satisfying TING when you get a positional right.

I always ask my self did I hit my positional?
I really don't know if I did or not

As long as it's optional, I don't see why not. Would help when learning a new job, or dusting off an old one.

Never noticed it myself if so, though only really put any kind of playtime into MNK, years ago, and lately RPR and VPR.

Unironically, this is a great suggestion. Receiving feedback on positionals would encourage me to never miss them.

There is a sound, but not the way you think.



Failing to hit the positional results in a flatter sounding hit, while hitting it is much deeper. It's tied to the sound effects of the attack itself. Can try it on a dummy.

This is a great idea. Like a small chime or a visual checkmark

A quick, and dirty way to add feedback to landing positionals correctly would be to make them auto direct hit or auto crit. But that would make those stats even more important, and bloated than they already are.

Honestly just make it change color if you got it or not. There's a mod for this already although obviously this place is for normies only but yeah, it exists already to change the color to whatever you want, like making the attack become "Green text" if you got the positional and "red text" for whatever the attack is if you missed it. For example, if you had the mod enabled it would change "Leaping Opo" to red or green based upon if you got the positional or not. Not saying that I would ever use such evil, horrible, "CHEATING" mods, but you know I've seen other people that aren't related to me upload footage of this evil cheating stuff.
