The game could definitely benefit from a healthy dose of chaos and semi random little incidents in between main mechanics (or even during them).
And hell, even without chaos, I'd kill to get back actual prey mechanics that actually require support coverage through shielding and/or mitigation. Dangerous in normal mode as it won't oneshot players, but can for example precede room wides. Absolutely lethal in challenging content however and would require support protection.
ARR had similar mechanics based on damage inflicted to the boss, notably in Sastasha hard and Qarn hard, except it was room wide damage. But it's easily extendable to single targets.
