Did Square forget America isnt the size of Japan when partnering with Gong Cha?

For real, I shouldnt have to hope I have friends close to one in order to participate. They need to do more research when doing these promotions. Its only in a handful of states.

They already forgot America's not the size of Japan when they put all of our data centers in California.

At least you americans have one of those stores in your country and you don't need to travel internationally if you wanted to participate like most of Europe.

Depending on where someone in the US lives, it might as well be internationally. Someone in Minnesota or North Dakota would need to travel 1700 miles (2700 KM) to get to the closest Gong Cha (according to Google at least).

It's funny that here in the upper midwest I had better ping when the servers were in Canada.

The closest Gong Cha to me is about 200 miles away and I'm in a fairly large city. I think we don't have them because we have exactly 800 other boba places. I had to rely on a friend to get a code.

Isn't traveling internationally, like, super easy in Europe? You can go ten miles and you're in another country, while here you go a thousand miles and you're still stuck in the US.

Europe is bigger than the US (including meme alaska yes) and has 44-50 countries (depending who u ask). US has 50 states.

And honestly even including Alaska is funny since its not even attached to mainland US, thats like adding Greenland to Europe because Denmark owns it.

Depends on what part of Europe you're going to and from where... Going from Northern Europe to Central Europe for this would at the very minimum require either a plane or boat.
