Onion Knights: Rise Up! - Return to Us the Peregrine Helm

I feel like the forums have been to hostile lately. So here's a more light hearted topic I would like to see returned to the game.

I want a way to get the Peregrine Helm.

Since the introduction of Quick Ventures there's been rumor and speculation that you could acquire the Peregrine Helm from Quick Ventures, with only an extreme small few claiming to have gotten it, and none showing any official proof.

At this point in time people speculate that the 1.0 items have been removed from the Quick Venture list, with counter speculations stating they haven't removed them. Though even if they haven't the odds of getting the Peregrine Helm are absurd.

So please give unto us better odds of getting the legendary Peregrine Helm, so that we may Glamour it across all classes.

Also maybe change the Red Onion Helm so it can be Glamoured across all classes too. You know maybe, please.

I got the onion doublet from a venture just the other day so they haven't removed those at least.

It's probably simply a case of the loot pool for Quick Ventures becoming extremely bloated, after 5 expansions there are just too many items that can drop from it, with some having a higher priority than others for some reason.

Anecdotal example, I've probably gotten more Amaurotine accessories from quick ventures than any other item and there was a time where you got spammed with the Stuffed Alpha housing item.

No, had no reason to. I deleted the item too since I already had it. But it was like two days ago.

A time? I still get spammed with them and Bom Bok.

you might be able to tune your retainers item level to maximize your chances. At least it feels like the pool gets bigger as they do

As nice as that would be, I haven't found a viable way to pull it off. The level for the Peregrine Helm is lvl 30, so I would have to find a way to limit my retainers level to 30. Resetting them over and over could work, but that would also involve a huge time investment. I would need to reset them, level them back up to 30, get only a handful of quick ventures, then reset again.

I have been trying to get the Peregrine Helm, Onion Doublet, Onion Gaskins, and Onion Pattens since version 1.0. I did the original levequests that dropped some of these items a bunch of times before 1.0 ended. But they never dropped for me. Then I kept sending my retainer to quick ventures as much (whenever I was subbed) as I could over the years. I remember getting a couple item level 52 items that are unique to quick ventures (Explorer/Veteran gear), but that was a few expansions ago. I see a lot of Red Onion helmets on the market board right now, but none of the item level 52 gears. Perhaps other players simply turn them into seals instead of selling them on the market board? Recently I re-classed my two retainers to max level 10 Rogue in order to reduce the size of the drop pool. They have brought me back a lot of green icon gear up to level 90 (ilvl 15+, 30+, 40+, etc..), furniture, crafting materials, level 1 glamour gear, and fish. I don't know if leveling them to level 30 will increase my chances for the peregrine helm since I am already getting ilvl 30ish gear. My suspicions are that the drop pool is the same until level 50, at which point level 130 gear should start dropping.

If I ever do get any of these rare items, I will definitely take a screenshot.
