The improvements to the Forlorn Maiden system are great, and I want more!

Allowing the Twist of Fate buff you get from defeating a Forlorn Maiden to increase the amount of bicolor gems you get from fates as well as increasing their spawn rate has been a really, really great change. And I want more!

What I want is a super Forlorn Maiden mini world boss fate to have a chance to appear in any zone.

How I imagine it would work is anytime a Forlorn Maiden is defeated in any fate in any zone that rewards bicolor gems there is a chance to spawn a 'Forlorn Mistress' fate chain in the zone. The first part of the chain is just a bunch of the mini Forlorn Maiden adds. Completing it rewards gems, experience, and gives players the small Twist of Fate buff, and advances to the next part of the chain. The next part of the chain is against The Forlorn mini boss, and it gives players gems, experience, and the big Twist of Fate buff upon completing it. The final part of the chain is against the Forlorn Mistress, whose difficulty should be comparable to an A rank. Consider using the Scathach skeleton for her. Players get a ton of gems, experience, and an even bigger Twist of Fate buff upon defeating her.

Overall I think it could add more dynamics to grinding fates, and more opportunities to get rewards is always good.

I think the biggest thing I want is for the Twist of Fate buff to stick with you when you instance travel, lol. The amount of times I've been in a fate train that switched instances after killing a Forlorn (not a Forlorn Maiden, mind you!) is high enough that I consider just staying in the instance and soloing one fate for the bonus before following the party...

If a party I'm with wants to switch instances I'll stay until I use that buff, no way am I wasting a Forlorn.

It is less efficient to stay and wait though. The Forlorn adds, what, 300k-ish to a fate? But you may be waiting around 2 minutes for a fate to spawn, whereas if you go to a new instance, you can easily clear a whole other fate in those 2 minutes which gives 450k or w/e. (Plus when you stay behind, you're doing the fate alone now)

I was thinking recently that they need to add gems to the weekly challenge log. Can add it as a reward if your chocobo is max level. Or the fate one add a set amount if your max level or add a 20 fate level that awards gems.

Okay so like Arch Aethereater, the SS rank for Dawntrail zones may or may not be related whatever the Forlorn Maidens are so if its the 'king',' we need the 'queen.' Just throwing that out there.

Considering that the multiple instances are only temporary, it's doubtful that they'll make this change.

If you talk to the NPC near the Aetheryte in Solution 9 about the Hunts in the area they will tell you that the SS Rank Arch Aethereater is in fact related to the Forlorn from Fates.

I love the new system although it came with an increased cost of rewards requiring bicolor gemstones. I feel like orchestrion rolls should still cost 350 of them instead of 450.
