I am a huge fan of the job design in Dawntrail.

I will preface this by saying I'm a tank main, so I'm approaching this as someone who only dabbles in most of the dps jobs. That said, I've tried every job in the game so far (got everything to at least level 91) and I'm a huge fan of everything they've done to streamline each job's rotation.

Some examples include getting rid of Dragoon's single-target buff (it was extremely clunky to use on controller), Bard not needing a target to use songs, Monk's entire rework, B̶L̶M̶'s̶ r̶e̶w̶o̶r̶k̶; I love it all. There are so many jobs that I feel like I could main, but I realistically can't!

I understand that some people who main these jobs might not like the changes, but I absolutely adore them and it makes me want to play them more.

PS I haven't even mentioned Viper and Pictomancer, which are both a lot of fun and feel great to play. Pictomancer has a lot of decision-making in it's rotation while Viper is pretty rigid.

Bard could have had its songs changed to not require a target any time during Endwalker. It was highly requested the entire expansion along with stuff like Monk chakra. Don't count in quality of life changes as a positive for an expansions "new" job changes. The developers held back those changes so they could paint the new job changes as being better than they actually are.

I like some of the changes, but there is a lot I really hate or dislike. As a Samurai, the tsubame gaeshi changes genuinely piss me off. Summoner is just... more of the same, really boring and lacklustre. BLM changes killed the diversity in what rotations to use, from my understanding, so I don't like this either.

Idk, the only tank that they actually built on was Warrior.
Every other tank lost something or got simplified in some way.
Dark knight especially just looks extremely barebones. I don't know who decided that removing a bunch of shit without adding anything was a good idea.
