Playonline issue.

Hello,

I will fly to Japan to join the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary event but it seems that only japanese playonline accounts can take part in the lottery for the Admission to the special stage?
I feel it is not fair for people who come such a long way to see the event to restrict the lottery to japanese members only.

My login in playonline works fine but when i press the Lottery button it does not work.

Hi Randis,

It's very nice to hear that you are visiting Japan and will attend the FINAL FANTASY 25th Anniversary event held in Tokyo.

Unfortunately only the Japanese SQUARE ENIX IDs (*not PlayOnline IDs, just to be clear) are eligible to submit an application for these Japanese 25th event stages.

However, since the number of audiences is limited and not all applicants will be accepted to attend the special stage event, we are considering about having a video streaming available to the players who cannot attend. The details are yet to be determined but an announcement shall be made once there is an update so please look forward to it.

i am sad to hear that Square Enix excludes fans other than japanese for such an event...
it is very disappointing to say the least.

Not being welcome to participate in the lottery indeed is more disappointing than one might think.

住所とかを偽って記載するという不正を行って外国から取得すると言う事でしょうか？
不正が発覚すれば、即アカウント剥奪になると思います。

日本在住の方なら、恐らく外国の方でも取得出来るのではないでしょうか？

FFシリーズに強い思い入れを持っている方なので、
参加したい気持ちは大変良くわかるのですが、
今回のイベントは、元々日本人向けの日本語のイベントなので、
日本語が理解できない方には、そもそも向いていないと思うのですが...
