Howdy!! I've never posted here so I hope I'm posting correctly, but after doing the normal raids I really wanted to compliment the devs on all of the battle content this expansion!
I had fun in Endwalker, but Dawntrail feels like a huge step up in keeping me engaged through every fight. The difficulty increase has been wonderful, in all content. It was definitely easier to no-brain EW dungeons pretty quickly and it could make things like expert roulette kind of meh, but with DT I'm even having to stay engaged in earlier dungeons. Having to keep my brain turned on even more feels really good, and even repeat trips through every dungeon and trial feel amazing. Especially as a healer; I'm not the best Sage but I have LOVED having to work harder and plan better to keep the team going.
The normal raids have been an excellent culmination of this, with how unique and interesting they are. As someone who's running them a lot for orchestrions, I very much appreciate working to optimize and improve even through repeat trips. It's very satisfying helping first-timers through them too! I've seen wipes but we learn and make it through, which is so nice to see!
Thank you for not being afraid to take some risks and really push the variety and difficulty of even normal content (without going too crazy); it really means a lot and makes me so much more excited to replay all of the Dawntrail content. And even more excited for Savage!
(Also, big shoutout to Skydeep Cenote, probably my favorite dungeon of this expansion!)

Thank you for speaking up! Those of us who never wanted all the changes making the game easier and easier have been silent for too long, and it's about time we don't let the complainers win like they did for all the horrible decisions that had us scratching our heads in confusion in Shadowbringers and Endwalker.

Agree 100%. This is the first time playing the game where I've had fun playing every dungeon more than once. Nothing at the normal level is overly hard, people have just been unengaged by casual content for so long they got used to it.

Probably the only boss that actually has you fully consider and utilise your closers in regards to your rotation to minimise GCD loss, instead of packing them into it for that little bit of damage.

I like the challenge of trying to fit stuff like Primal Rend in a way that aligns with both burst and the boss moving around so much. Yeah, the M2 Barbaricca phase is really fun as its one of the few times in normal content where I will end up explicitly dropping uptime to dodge it. I'll probably be able to get it without that with more experience, but on the first few clears it was genuinely engaging unlike most recent normal raids. It's such a genuinely refreshing change. I know people who quit in EW because the game had become so trivial for them. Hopefully we see these people return!
