Travel Restrictions

Hi, please remove the data center travel restrictions, I don't know why it wasn't done with this past maintenance but there's no reason to keep it in place any longer. Thanks

Are any servers still experiencing an hours long queue? I know Gilgamesh was a wreck that first week.

My friends and I have just been gathering up on Dynamis.

I have a character on Aether, and I log in there without issue at any hour. It's been that way since before the patch

It doesn't even feel like anyone is transferring to Dynamis, queues are the same on Seraph every hour of the day.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed to see that the restrictions weren't unlocked on .01. Can't imagine where they thought congestion was still too much of an issue to keep the restrictions up for.

All we can do now is pray that they will lift travel restrictions in 7.05, which should theoretically be out on the 30th?

This was pretty predictable. Releasing the raids meant even a slight uptick in players, to their minds, still worth keeping congestion mitigation in place. And also the simple fact of still wanting to boost Dynamis population/engagement...

I will be moving my main away from Dynamis since apparently their plan is to force people to make characters on Dynamis with the "good" excuse of congestion (and it could happen again, who knows?), there are 0 queues that are abnormal on any world at this point, they are trying to force people to go on Dynamis, as if when the restrictions are lifted people wont transfer away to other DC's or at the very least go on Aether via DC travel for raiding and Crystal for RP

It's absolutely ridiculous and will make people on Dynamis consider moving to avoid getting stuck on the DC. At least it was the last straw for me to move away.

The second the restrictions will be gone, people will DC travel again as per pre DT, and people will transfer away since they were forced to create characters on Dynamis and will finally have the option to go fully populated DC's

This does nothing but delay the inevitable.

JP only has 1 DC locked down out of 4, which is Mana, the most populated one, it makes no sense to lock all of NA DC's aside from Dynamis, it made sense week 1, but not at this point, they are just pushing it and no one is complaining about it (until this thread).

I mean, I am on Maddy mostly, and our DC went from 8 to 16 parties match pre expansion to 78 to 90 parties match.

Have you seen the amount of travelers?

Thats where that comes from. Because people are forced to meet on Dynamis if they want to play with their friends.
