I can't help but notice the similarities!

Over in the Phantasy Star universe, when things go awry, we say "Because Sega" or "Congrats, you just got Sega'd" as a meme when they released bad content, or bugged content, or when pretty much anything goes wrong, which happens on a near weekly basis .. which is as often as they have maintenance. This whole Dawntrail launch and all the feedback makes me think "SEGA" every single time. Did Squenix hire a buncha Sega's former employees? Solution 9 and all that sci-fi crap look a lot like Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis and has just as many flaws. The Sphene trial has mechanics gutted straight out of Dark Falz fights from pso2 as well.

It's ok Squenix, you can just tell us you have less experienced staff and that you've lowered your quality standards to accommodate this... though that may seem unprofessional and bad for business... it's far better to be upfront and honest with your playerbase rather than baiting them then switching things up on them, making them have high expectations then disappointing them will only lead to players leaving the game.

I kinda like it, solution 9 looks like Clyez city from PSU with purple skybox.
The pvp gearset and npc gearsets from there look straight from PSU (google Vol brothers/Ethan waber).
I love phantasy star but i cant help but laugh at that move in the final trial with the Brain wall obstacle.
You cant blame the formulaic nature of this expac and move the blame to other game or developer, square and creative business dropped the ball hard.

The weekly maintenance thing from PSO2 is something from the 2012 era btw, nothing to do with "bugged content" or "bad content".

the point was that Sega makes a lot of mistakes and has lots of bugs to fix , frequently. and Square has always been a cut above everyone else, until this expansion, they've really dropped the ball like you said. theyre on par with Sega now. Tht's bad

Umm...this game like all MMO's have had plenty of bugs throughout its lifetime. Remember the whole housing lottery thing from the last expansion? It's not "until this expansion," this is par for the course for practically any MMO developer.
