Viper Adjustments

On the 7.01 Patch Notes for Viper updates they said

First Generation Range has been increased from 3 to 5 yalms.
Second Generation Range has been increased from 3 to 5 yalms.
Third Generation Range has been increased from 3 to 5 yalms.
Fourth Generation Range has been increased from 3 to 5 yalms.

But on the tool tips and using it in game it still says its 3 yalms.
is this a glitch or an oversight?

oversight on the tooltips, I can confirm it's 5 yalms now

Its a mistranslation in the Patchnotes, Generations are the GCD and they are still 3yalm, they increased the range from the OGCDs

Why on earth would they increase the range of the oGCD but not the GCD?! It feels terrible to stand on a tank and still not hit everything.

For the same reason they increased the range on continuation for GNB. For movement and disconnects between GCDs

To ease the disconnect. On GNB it was painful to move a boss if you were in your Gnashing Fang combo as your oGCD was 3y.
The same way, you have better flexibility to disconnect on VPR if your oGCDs are triggered.
