The Seventh Umbral Era - A Hero's Journey

I was bored the other night and decided to throw something together tying all the major events of the Seventh Umbral Era storyline together into one long video. Obviously it couldn't be too long, so some was cut out, and it doesn't include any of the non-cutscene quests or actual battle footage.

It's also not very good, as I only spent about an hour and a half on it and got extremely frustrated with my editing programs tweaking out on me. By no means professional grade. Bit jumpy in some spots.

But! Some people said they liked it, and I know some people have liked my previous videos (which I've worked much, much harder on) and I just thought I'd share. Naturally, it contains heavy spoilers to the Seventh Umbral Era storyline (including the "ending") so I would advise against watching it if you don't want anything spoiled.

The video is supposed to sort of follow a lone soul's journey from a greenhorn adventurer to the savior of Eorzea.

I hope you enjoy it. I might even re-make it some time soon when I have more time and find myself more motivated.

I appreciate it.

I've always seen it as the harder I am on myself, the more I strive to do better work in the future. If I don't hate what I make even a little bit and find myself satisfied completely, I feel like I lose the motivation to make my next video all the better.

I'm glad people enjoy my videos, though, as I enjoy making them. (Unless, of course, it's like this video and absolutely refuses to agree with him and renders in a funky way.)

Gotta say, the music and visuals are pretty well synchronised. :)
