Viper needs to be faster

It's supposed to be a high apm job and it's not, it's barely there. The burst window should feel like it consistently. Likewise, the twin blade should be an obvious change where it's slower and it hits hard, like what they did to monks in Stormblood. If positional requirements are removed, then I think the job needs to have the lowest gcd. If you're going to Kirito, at least do it properly.

All that being said, I think they need to rework the single swords and the twin blade mechanic so it feels more intentional. Provided they don't make the gcd 4 seconds.

As a controller user, I think Viper is already at the limit of what most people can comfortably handle in terms of APM on controller without making the job even simpler. I know this because I'm a crazy person that plays WoW on controller and I mostly have to stick to classes/specs below 50 APM because 2 thumbs can only do so much in comparison to M&KB users. I do play fury warrior which is one of the higher APM specs in the game sitting at 67 APM, but it's the only high APM spec in the game that's feasible on controller because it's simpler than even viper with very few OGCDs. Now Blizzard doesn't have to design their specs around me and the 10 other people that play the game on controller because their game isn't designed around controller, but FF14 does have to think about us. And for as simple as fury warrior is, I still get major hand fatigue from playing it.

i have played the job longed enough to know it is insanely fast the boosters for this job are over the top just because your in a hurry and nothing is fast enough does not mean they need to make it faster.

Yeah I was mostly being sarcastic because I don't want them to make it easier. That being said, I would like to see the twinblade have a more intentional design to its gameplay at some point as it currently feels like an afterthought.
