[ No Teleport Roleplay Quests ]

Hello FFXIV community! I hope you're having a lovely day~

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be doing more frequent RP Quests for anyone to participate in naturally as sort of a quest giver (sometimes a party member)

One thing that I have been craving from the FFXIV experience is the feeling of naturally finding yourself in adventures. No planning, no discussions up front on when or where to be, just exploring and fighting adversaries with a band of random adventurers.

This is a common theme in previous Final Fantasy titles where the sense of discovery shines forward. Needless to say, I have been craving for traditional adventure experiences in the open world, and in turn, has inspired me to recreate those experiences for fellow FFXIV players. So, I have committed myself to creating open-world quests for the community to participate in.

<STARTING A QUEST>

When a quest is active, a Party Finder group will be created as [ KR Roleplay Quest ] with a basic synopsis of what the quest might entail afterward. Upon completing the quest, a reward will be provided for participation (Gil or Items)

( NOTE: If you see KR, that stands for my main character name, Koichi Resh. However, I may use ALTs to give quest lines out so I won't always be using my main, so don't be alarmed if Koichi Resh isn't logged on )

Some general rules I tend to follow within my Quests:

<QUEST GUIDELINES>

• Participants cannot use the Aethernet teleport system during the remainder of the quest and must travel utilizing the transportation methods provided

• To speed up the adventure experience, players do not have to use quotes to speak

• Like the previous point of speeding up the adventure, custom emotes must be short in length (think short sentences)

• Please do not Godmod, we don't want a bunch of Gary Stu/Mary Su characters in a party. That can be somewhat suffocating. Strengths and weaknesses are a good thing for development and healthy character dynamics

• Lastly, I just overall want people to respect one another and not cross boundaries. Let's all have fun together!

Once again, these are just my personal quest guidelines and if you do not enjoy this style of roleplay you are of course, never forced to participate. If you want to help DM a quest with me as well, you are more than welcome to reach out too!

This thread was only created as a means to allow people to know, that, you are more than welcome to add me as a friend, as I will occasionally create these quests and will wait for players to accept quests provided by my characters.

My sole purpose in this is to hopefully enrich the FFXIV community as a whole and to give something for the roleplay community to naturally run into. I hope it brings people into interweaving stories naturally like a traditional RPG in a sense.
