As the title says, if someone has to go through the torture of 99 runs of a new EX fight without getting the mount, they should be rewarded for that, not given the middle finger "wait a couple of patches". ( Oh, I'm not even going to go to the RNG that quite often gives the mount to the person laying dead through the fight, you know, the person who contributed the least to the clear ).
Also when the mount is purchasable in the future, the drop rate has also been buffed already so it's kind of a big middle finger for those who had to do the fight 99 times
How many people actually do keep trying to farm after getting to 99 totems, which already takes quite a hefty time?
How about we change Savage books to the same way as well "Oh you didn't win loot? It's okay, here are books that you can use next year!"

Personally, I like them introducing it later. If I overcap totems going for it and it drops it's just a ton of free EX mats for when the augs eventually release. The lower drop rate does suck from a first glance, but I enjoy EX enough as a tier to want to try at least once or twice a week for the mounts.

You should be thankful that we have the pity at all. ARR trials don't have it.
Savage Books are a necessary mechanic to let people gear up despite how long it may take due to RNG.
You don't need mounts for gear progression.
If you really want the mount now, then put up a lootmaster party and say you'll pay 2M+ to everyone when you get the mount. This is not against the terms of service, and if people get tired and leave before the mount drops, you don't have to pay them. -

hat also includes Salvaging the gear, i really don't like to carry around the loot for 6 months before i can salvage the crap even when i don't need it anymore.

That is somethign i certainly wouldn't do, i get 99 and then im done, unless i get lucky. -

(And also possibly just because these two will last the longest - you have 2.5 years to farm them and they will become the quickest when outgeared)Quote:
