Pedagogy Mortarboard visual bug with visor

Steps:
1. Equip Pedagogy Mortarboard (Scholar artifact armor)
2. Manually adjust visor

Said item has a visual bug when the visor is toggled, instead of disappearing it is poking from the character's head.

Tried the most minimal hairstyle to rule out hairstyle clipping but it is poking from the head no matter what.
