Dawntrail SAM is awful

Does anyone who designed the Samurai changes have any idea what they are doing ?

Tendo weaponskills have different recasts so now filler rotations ends up in the trash bin including our muscle memory for slidecasts, and yeah they were so prepared for official launch that only after two days they announced that recast time will be reduced

They made Samurai less flexible with that effect " tsubame gaeshi ready " of Meikyo Shisui so you can't really decide by yourself what buttons you wanna use


Now in opener with clicking 4 buttons we got 7 buffs that completely reduce the readability of anything (if we add allies buffs it will get worse)

Is this all on purpose or are they seriously trying to force me quitting SAM ?

Samurai seems pretty identical to monk from what I hear (the reason i never tried it). And monk is a flaming dumpster so i believe any criticism of samurai.

The rotation just became slightly more restrictive.
Whenever you pop Meikyo shisui you MUST use tsubame now.
Besides that, they also added 2 more buffs to your buff list, which reduces readability.

In my opener, i'll have the following buff icons active;
True north
Meikyo shisui x3
Tsubami gaeshi ready
Tendo
Fugetsu
Fuga
Ogi Namikiri ready
Zanshin ready
Third eye OR Tengetsu's foresight

I don't mind the buffs but i do kinda dislike the restrictiveness on Tsubame ready.

To add to the bolded point, it affects not only its readability, but its performance. At maximum, SAM gives itself 11 buffs, so it is very prone to losing one or more of its buffs from buff capping, depending on fight-specific buffs from the boss or just party damage/mitigation buffs, which would crater its damage output significantly. Not sure how the devs did not see this, but hopefully they fix it ASAP.
