Can I get my sprout back?

The patch 7.0 notes state that the condition for having new adventurer status in Dawntrail is:

. Have played less than 300 hours
or
. Have not completed the main scenario quest "The Coming Dawn"

I lost my sprout before Danwtrail, but satisfy the second of the two conditions above.
According to the patch notes, I should be able to restore my sprout status. The notes say:

"Players who no longer have the New Adventurer status but fulfill the above requirement can restore it by first using the text command "/nastatus on," then selecting the New Adventurer status in the Edit Search Info window."

However, when I type the "/nastatus on," command I get the error message "You do not meet the requirements to change status."

Does anyone have some info on this? Are the patchnotes wrong, or is the system buggy?

Just based on what you said there, either you fulfill the 300hours of playing OR you are in the msq before Dawntrail. If it isn't letting you, it sounds like from the above message, that you have played for more then 300 hours so you don't qualify.

I never been around for a expac though so this is a first for me to see people regaining their sprout.

Both need to be met for the New Adventurer status to no longer be available, and historically players who previously lost theirs but don't meet new requirements generally get it back.

Just a thought but maybe it's already on? It would give an error if you're trying to turn it from on to on, after all. Are you able to change your search info status to New Adventurer again?

I tried /nastatus as well as /nas, and got the same result, so at least it is not that.

You can get the crafting mentor crown which is effectively the same thing.

By the way, I still have access to novice network, evern though I dont have the sprout.

Sounds like you have the sprout but you're just not seeing it.
With NN access and I assume bonus exp if paired with a mentor, there's no real issue other than a visual one.

But with the sprout I get more comms ;)
