Ruthenium Gear set loosing details when dyed

Steps:
1. Select a Ruthenium gear piece
2. Add dye to it
3. Watch the texture details disappear


I am on PC, Maximum settings.

When adding Dye to a Ruthenium gear piece, the textures will lose their details and certain parts will become smooth or blurry.
To better highlight this, i have added some screenshots of various pieces undyed and dyed Slate Grey. It happens with all colors though, slate grey is just the one that highlights this the most since the color is most similar to the gears base color.

This happens with both the Maiming and Fending set, since they are virtually the same. Its also Dye Channel 2.
