Why do they still refuse to just give us chocobos already?

Seriously SE already knows how to add them in the game, they have only done if for quite a few FF games now. So why have they still not given them to us?

Sure some people say "But you can teleport" but is it really worth it? I mean you get back what 6 anima per day with that slow regen time it is very easy to get stuck with no anima at all. Hence the need for either chocobos (or airships).

Now get your people to work Yoshi P. and give us our chocobos!

"Oh man, I have 20 minutes before Behest. I should probably start running in 5..."

Chocobos preferred... I understand the desire to make us run, but a chocobo would make things much more acceptable.


Today I started doing Guildleves in Ul'dah, then Limsa Lominsa. Now I'm about to spend 40+ minutes going from Limsa Lominsa to the Ferry, to Ul'dah, to Gridania so I can do Guildleves there, too. Each time, I'm passing Chocobo NPCs that just laugh at me because I'm running on foot. And I'm totally going to get lost in Gridania, too...

They're not giving us Chocobos because there is a bigger purpose to them they don't want to tell us about.
I think I have an idea of what that is, but they can't give them to us until battle is resolved. We're just going to have to wait.

battle on chocobo?

Yes chocobos would be great for transportation, but... I just love riding them and the theme song is full of WIN ;3

It's not that they're refusing to give us chocobos, it's just that they're working on tremendous groundbreaking game fixes that will alter how we play the game forever. I think that's a good reason to have the addition of chocobos held up.

Hopefully when they sort out the game (not that I see much wrong with it) they'll release the chocobos, even though I don't mind walking about I love looking at the environment.

They will likely come with Ishgard is released. When that will be? Hopefully within a few months time.
