"Expert" isn't meant to be difficult despite the name, it just separates the most "current" dungeons from earlier ones. Everything feels more difficult right now simply because we don't overgear it. Wait until everyone's decked out in 700-710 gear and see how it feels.
If there's anything good with this expansion, it's the fights and trials. I hope the devs keep doing fights like this, it's fun, engaging, and interesting.

I like most of the encounters in the current expert dungeons. They’re not tough but they’re not like super easy.
The one dungeon encounter I don’t like is the first boss of Strayborough Deadwalk. The mechanics themselves are fine, but the mask thing completely locking you out of all your abilities is just frustrating and feels more of an annoyance than a dangerous mechanic. Even worse if you’re a healer and someone needs healed, and you stupidly get yourself masked, so you have to /sit there afk for 10 seconds while they languish and die lol
I like all the boss fights but that exact one. The mask mechanic is just ridiculous. Not to mention there seems to be no set range to trigger them tackling you, which is ridiculous. I've run right next to one to have nothing happen but have had another tackle me from like 9 yards away as if I was running for a touch down.
The only problem I had with the new dungeons was that somehow the healers always died first, and I didn't see a single red mage or summoner throughout the entire expansion, so it inevitably went into a death spiral. The fights themselves were great.
