Ideas to expand Main Scenario

I'm thinking it's time to Retire Main Scenario or at least expand it...


Option 1 Retire and Replace
Main Scenario could maybe be its own instance at this point or something more exclusive to the trust system.

You then replace "Main Scenario" with 50/60/70 dungeons.

then "High-Level Dungeons" can be 80/90/100


Option 2 Expansion
Either that or maybe expand Main Scenario for capstone events such as the end dungeons/trials of all Expansions.

I believe the Main Scenario's original intent was to welcome players into their post-msq experience. At least that's how it felt for me back in HW. Yet we leave newer players now HW, Stormblood, Shadowbringers, and now EW with no such courtesy. I believe having to wait around for people to fill in for very important story portions of the game is kinda not so good feeling for Newer players when this is supposed to be a big moment for them a capstone event in their progress as the Warrior of Light.

I believe broadening the scope of the Main Scenario to maybe be "Malmstone Scenarios"

Be more appropriate for the ever-expanding story to allow veteran players and newer players easier access in achieving capstone events that offer variety as well as reward.


So version of this would be like:

Castrum Meridianum Relegated to an instanced scenario.

Level 50 Malmstones
The Praetorium/ The Porta Decumana (preferably just Ultima Weapon)

Level 60 Malmstones
The Aetherochemical Research Facility/The Singularity Reactor

Level 70 Malmstones
Ala Mhigo (Duty)/The Royal Menagerie

Level 80 Malmstones
Amaurot/The Dying Gasp

Level 90 Malmstones
The Dead Ends/The Final Day

Level 100 Malmstones
???????/?????????

All of these enter the pool once they are unlocked in your progression naturally.

It's just been a thought that has been on my mind for a while and I'm sure has no doubt been uttered before. Curious to know if anyone supports such an idea. I'm no opponent to Main Scenario personally but I know many who don't enjoy it very much.
