Unable to Update/Install
Hello! After the maintenance this morning I found myself unable to update the game through the launcher, and was just greeted with an error message. I tried the suggestions regarding firewalls/antivirus software, changing internet connections, and clearing out the patch files. Eventually I decided to just try a fresh install.
I'm able to get past the initial install launcher, but when I go to access the program and initiate the download I'm given the following error code: [1103][10009][10019].
I've tried a few suggestions from threads, but they were largely the same methods I listed about. I performed a factory reset and fresh install of Windows and I'm still having the same issues (along with turning off antivirus, firewalls, etc.). The error code is the same.
Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: for what it's worth, the attempt to download the game shows 0.00/0.00MB and no estimated time. Unsure what other details I can help provide.

Can you do a speedtest (like fast.com or speedtest.net). What internet connection to you have?
Please submit the full System Information via the FINAL FANTASY XIV System Information Tool and paste them here.
Also try a networking reset in windows:
To reset network settings: Start menu > Settings > Network and Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.

For sure. The network reset did not seem to fix things. Speedtest says I'm getting 206mbps down and 226mbps up. I'm over wifi on a 5G connection, though tried using my phone as an alternative connection with no luck.

As an update I was able to get the launcher updated using a friend's mobile hotspot, but can't download the entirety of the game off of it. I now receive the error code of [30413][25008][10009]

I'm experiencing the same issue. I went to update the game today and it has been stuck for 15+ minutes. I cancelled and reattempted and same issue. Looks like I won't be doing a fresh install.

I just fixed it for myself and anyone else that finds this thread. Close the launcher and reattempt the download.

That didn't work for me (but glad it did for you!). Ultimately I was able to get it going by using a VPN.
Update Again: Download stopped and now I'm getting that second error code again. This has been a very frustrating afternoon- never had an issue prior to today.

Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
The issue you are describing is most associated with interference with game data. Many actions can trigger this error, such as a slow internet connection, certain security/privacy changes on the default Internet browser, an application running in the background causing interference, use of a VPN or an odd connection (EG: schools or cafes), a possible virus detected on the device, many rapid payments at once, and numerous other actions.
We advise clearing the cache/cookies/browsing data from your default web browser, disabling any web browser extensions (EG: ad-blocker) and trying again. We also suggest resetting the connection (router/modem) you are using to connect to the Internet before trying again.
If the issue persists, please try running the launcher as an admin. Additionally, if you have OneDrive open it may cause communication errors as it tries to sync your files.
Open the control panel of the PC and go to ‘Network and Internet’. Once there select ‘Internet Options’
- Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
- Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
- Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
- Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
- Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
- Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
- Right-Click on the FFXIV launcher icon and select "Properties"
- Hit "Apply", then "OK" to save the changes.
- Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"
*Make sure your fire wall or antivirus program is not interfering with the game
Lastly, check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:

Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC.
Lastly, we suggest to power cycle the console and router by shutting down the Router and leaving the power supply unplugged for 5-10 minutes.

Been having this issue for weeks. I am still having problems. I have a 5g Verizon box and a LTE HotSpot from At&T and both give me the error.
