Login does not recognice my Dawntrail Installation

After emergency patch this morning I tried logging in and the game is telling me I can't play my level 100 character because Dawntrail is not installed. I have played through most of the expansion and have tried to find a way to reinstall my purchase but can't. I tried using the code I received on purchase but it tells me it has already been used. What do I do now?????????????????????

I paid for early access is this why it's telling me I don't have the proper expansion now? I can't believe I need to pay for an additional expansion now.

UPDATE - I found that a second activation code was sent to me separate from the early access code (Smacks head DOH!) Issues solved for me.

Hi, I tried logging in today and had the same message, and then I went and checked and it said I didn't have dawntrail, even though I've been playing early access lol.

I went to square enix web site > orders > copied my code > went to mogstation > **ADDITIONAL EXPANSIONS** > and put my code in (again) and it worked for me. I am able to log in finally. IDK why it said I didn't already register it when I did before, but I just had to do it again.

I tried to register using my code but it said it was already used, but still did not recognize Dt when I try to log in. But just now, after repeated attempts, repairing files and basically tearing out my hair, when I tried to login it ran another update patch and is now recognizing my DT. Perhaps system just clogged and patch didn't update properly to begin with who knows. Thanks for your responses.

I know this might sound dumb but make sure you are not trying to put in the "Early access" bonus content code from square enix web site COLLECTIONS, and that instead you are going to ORDERS and getting the code from there.


There are two different codes: early access code, and now there is an official release code (new).

Like SnakeWeasel and Saunter have said, now that Dawntrail has been fully released, they have sent out a SECOND registration code to early access players that will give you access again. You just need to find this new code (for me, it was sent to the email I used to buy the preorder a couple weeks ago; for others, it may be on the Square Enix shop site under Orders) and enter it on the Mog Station > Games & Additional Services > Additional Expansions, and you should be A-OK!

This happened to me as well, fixed thanks to this thread.

I had to enter the newer Dawntrail code emailed to me 9 days ago. The pre-order/bonus rewards code from my original purchase expressly did not work.

i had this issue too!
Tried to re-enter my early access code on Mogstation and it kept telling me that the code had already been registered, and also not letting me log in even though I've been playing in early access since it first came out.
Things that worked for me (FINALLY) was - going to the Square Enix store (different from the mogstation) on a browser that was NOT Firefox. I use Firefox for everything and for some reason the Squenix store hates it. It wouldn't let me log into my account and see my Dawntrail order on Firefox, but when I did it on Edge, I was able to see the order, see the OTHER code for Dawntrail (not Early Access Dawntrail), put THAT code into Mogstation, and now I'm back in.
