Hi,

Not sure if this is the right location to bring this matter to attention if it hasn't already, but has anyone ran into this error? https://imgur.com/2KCwGDd

I've not had this issue in the entirety of my playtime with XIV dating back at the start of 2020 until 7.0 unfortunately. I've validated the files, reinstalled the game, moved location of said game, uninstalled my gpu driver, reinstalled freshly, and my cpu/gpu temps never get wildly hot... and lastly I have never touched any underclock or overclock settings as I've never felt comfortable in doing so.

I've submitted this as a bug report and am just trying to spread this as I've seen other posts on Twitter talking about this error... hoping it is something resolved in a hotfix/patch sooner rather than later. I'd love to play DT but I feel I'd be a liability as there is no set time in which I will randomly crash.

Apologies if this isn't the right location, happy to push this elsewhere if so, just at wits end on what to do here.

yes, Im having the exact same issue, right down to the hexcodes given after the driver name, and like you, it didnt start till thursday when I played 7.0 for the first time

Yes I have had this too and reported on this forum and raised a bug through support too and yep seen it. It is quite irritiating. A few other threads have popped up too.

Somewhere I saw where people were talking about needing to check their BIOS to make sure that's updated, then another set of suggestions mentioned something along the realm of changing your pc ratio or something or another... no. No thank you to that. Makes me feel better that it ain't just me, but with that in mind, I am sorry we're all going through it as well! I just wanna play, reliably haha!

You can try re-install your NVIDIA driver, since the error seems to be due to a nvidia driver file.
Having no problem playing with nvidia gpu on my own.

Can you run benchmarks like 3DMark Nomad without issues?

Try disabling background task like AntiVirus (Webroot), Corasir, Elgato. Disable Steam Overlay. Try minimal boot with msconfig. Maybe something interfere with the nvidia drivers while access them.
Maybe FFXIV also has a problem with multiple GPUs. Try disabling the Intel iGPU in UEFI/BIOS for testing purposes.

The Problem have to be on your PC, i played without a single crash (dxerror oder this one) since DT early access, sometimes FFXIV just shows issues, like unstable RAM or GPU. Or its just broken nvidia drivers, since its using DLSS now.
