2.0 Legacy

So I currently sub to the game. My last time playing was when the game left the Free Trial. So my question if I pay 3 times from now until 2.0. Will I get legacy?. Or did the beta test already start?

You will, if the 2.0 beta doesn't start before you're billed for your third month.

First, they just released a major patch yesterday for the game on the 1.0 client so no, Beta has not started. 1.0 client is supposed to come down when 2.0 Beta goes live; so as long as you can log into the current game you know beta has not started.

and considering beta is slated to start in sept/oct that is highly unlikely. Which is supported by this:

This would suggest that even if you started paying on June 30 it would be cutting it close to get legacy.

If the ONLY reason you were starting now is to get Legacy, I would just hold off for 2.0 since likely you will only get 1 or 2 months in before beta starts. However, the game is a LOT more fun now than it was back in December - January and if you can get leveled up fast enough there is a lot of end game content that can only be experienced pre-2.0 such as the Grand Company battle quests, primal fights in their current state, etc.

As DAMNLAMA has pointed out... Your a bit late to board the 2.0 legacy train. However fret not! Because 2.0 is going to be awesome! 1.0 is pretty awesome in it's on regard! :D

I'm in the same boat with you. I don't think either of us are going to get legacy, since I think they're going to be doing testing sometime in September/October. I was pretty interested in the legacy mount but they'll add others.

Either way though I'm loving the changes they made to the game since I last played it during launch.

Well I don't really mind. I just hope that "one month fee" is still 9.99 or 999 crysta after 2.0. That was my concern.

Unfortunately it won't be... Pricing was announced already for 2.0.

Entry level which allows 1 playable character per world will cost you $12.99 a month.

Standard level will allow 8 playable characters per world and cost $14.99 a month.

Of course Legacy gets the same benefits of the standard tier but at a discounted price. Sorry you missed out on it : /
