[Petition] Remove foggy weather from cutscenes even if it started during fog

I had several cutscenes by now where a character commented on a spectacular view or objects in the distance while the cutscene itself just showed a wall of fog.

They can force weather during cutscenes, there is no reason they cannot force "no fog".

Pretty please? I want Alphinaud's ability of fog-piercing eyes.

I'd like them to also adjust it for dust storms, rain, and any weather not MSQ relevant that obscures the view as numerous times already this expansion I've been told to look up at the sky, the distant horizon, or some landform/marvel....only to see the vague outline if I can see anything at all. It's honestly disappointing when you miss out on something that's supposed to leave you awed by it.

I was also hit by the Elpis foggy intro and it's still happening to MSQ moments in Dawntrail.

Almost all of the cutscenes where people visited my island happened when it was raining.

I support this. When I first entered Kozama'uka and was presented with a shot of the massive waterfalls, the impressiveness fell flat because all I could see was heavy fog.

A lot of cutscenes happen when it's dark out too. With Erenville some of these cutscenes are just too dark.

Honestly, for the sake of consistency, I wish the game would change the weather for cutscenes (in the inn) to always be "10am-3pm, sunny", outside of specific zone specific weather (Eg miasma in mor dohna) and when outside the inn, advance the time to at least 10am as a "cutscene feature."

This would be very nice yeah - ever since 7.0 dropped, I noticed that we get a lot more rain and fog in general. I'm hoping that's a bug, because honestly its getting a bit tiring. I haven't even started Dawntrail yet (been finishing up Endwalker), but its just been rain and fog nearly all the time.

Yes, please. Time of day and weather conditions have always been an occasional problem in those instances, but it's been especially noticeable in DT, probably because the characters are doing a lot more scripted sightseeing. Apart from the way it breaks immersion, it's also just an eyesore.

I've had so much rain during the times I'm playing MSQ it's ridiculous. Absolutely ruining the vibe.
