VIT / STR first and secondary stats

If there is already a thread i am sorry but i have a short question about the first and secondary stat...

i was reading a guide who someone said "STR is the highest mod. for MNK/DRG/WAR and the stat cap is 350 for the main attribute and 310 for the secondary"

so now to the question itself:

What is now the real main modifier for WAR?

I think in the patchnotes SE said VIT > STR... so is STR now the main to cap on 350 or is it VIT on 350?

I am really confused now ^^

it's STR > VIT, you have it backwards.

OP means that VIT is actually the main stat for WAR
so the question is whether stat cap of 350 is VIT or STR

All of them are listed backwards I think. >.>

yep, the 1.20 patch notes have them backwards, (sorry for formatting):

Class - Bonus 1 - Bonus 2
Pugilist - Intelligence - Strength
Gladiator - Mind - Strength
Marauder - Vitality - Strength
Archer - Dexterity - Piety
Lancer - Piety - Strength
Conjurer - Mind - Piety
Thaumaturge - Mind - Piety

so that means Bonus 2 is the 350er cap one right?

yes the one listed as bonus 2 in the 1.20 patch notes is your primary dmg modifier.
