Regarding Viper "feedback" and selection bias

Have you received feedback saying otherwise? Probably not, because people who are happy with it aren't constantly posting about it. So obviously if you act only upon the feedback you did receive, you are going to believe that "everyone" think it's bad in its current form.

It's called selection bias. Please don't fall for it.

Additionally it's too early for any player to make this kind of judgment about a new class that was introduced less than a week ago.

For many people, viper as it is now is just engaging enough. Dumb it down and you're going to greatly disappoint a lot of people.

Please give it some time and consideration before making harsh decisions.

"We finally created a slightly engaging melee class!" *hears complaints from worse than casual players* "We are no longer letting you have a slightly engaging melee class!"

God, I hate how SE caters to players with less skill than the average casual in this game. Like, this isn't a discussion of Casual vs Hardcore anymore. I just had a friend come back to the game after a very long break, and she adores Viper. She hasn't done anything outside of story content for YEARS... And now they're going to gut this class because some 0 IQ individuals can't figure out to alternate sides on a boss every combo.
