Am I missing something?

I just finished the alliance raid of the dark world. This is the third time I have done an alliance raid, however, earlier I went to buy some new materia and saw that I didn't have anything to buy it with. So, this raid that I just did, probably around 7:15ish this morning, I specifically wanted to make sure that I started accumulating some crystals to buy the new materia.

Well, I finished the raid and looked for the crystals, which were no were to be found in my bags. I looked back in the logs to see whether I got it, I mean it had to be there right? It's not like I don't have any experience with doing things in this game and then getting anything for it. Bringing the receipts for your viewing, and I am sure you will see that the raid ended, I got the tomes and the money, and then it was done with me. I looked in my currency book, and even my quest section of my bags...not..a..thing.

So my big question is, how am I supposed to get the materia that I am going to need if I can't get it through the alliance raids and other duties, because trying to get it by the daily hunts will take at least five to six times longer, if not more. I am willing to grind to a point, but if that is what I am facing ahead of me, then I might as well quit the game, because I don't have the energy or time to do that. Not at 3 sacks per hunting target and materia is like 150 and 400 sacks of nuts.
