Error 20524

Patch is done downloading, but it won't install because of this error.
Does anyone know how to fix it?

delete the .patch file and redownload. you probably got a hashfail. try the actual square p2p client

Oh, I did. I was in the process of redownloading it with uTorrent.

At least you got it to start patching, I wasted about an hour and a half with uTorrent, only to have the file not work at all.

2 hours with game client, 5 minutes on uTorrent >_>

Torrent failed too...

Have you swapped any DAT files?
I did get an error (can't remember if it was 20524) with 1.22 because I swapped the 2 Chocobo Music DATs.

nope, I've tried a direct dl provided by a friend, and even that didn't work.
How is it this game is nearly 2 years old, and it's dl client is STILL the worst feature?
